Appointed Yorkshire Senior Partner in May 2009, David Buckley heads Ernst & Young's Yorkshire practice, which comprises 320 people across two offices in Leeds and Hull.

A transaction support partner, David is one of the best-known corporate finance faces in the region. He has worked on transactions with some of Yorkshire's biggest businesses.

David originally joined Ernst & Young's Leeds office in 1991. He returned to the region in February 2008 after leading the London Transaction Advisory Services team for two years. During that time the business grew by 22% and won numerous awards and accolades for their work with clients.

He has also led the firm's transaction advisory services teams in the North of England and Scotland during his career.

Born in Leeds, David enjoys road running, tennis and scuba diving.
