A YORKSHIRE business club has won a prestigious award.

Club LS1, based at 3 Albion Place in Leeds, won the award for Proprietary Club of the Year at the National Club Mirror Awards, held in Manchester.

The awards recognise the commitment of clubs, committees and individuals who work to ensure a healthy future for their club.

"We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award as it recognises just how far Club LS1 has come over the past three years - it has been a great deal of hard work and we are delighted that the vision for 3 Albion Place as the ‘place where leaders meet’ is now a reality."
