HAIR EXPERT DEVELOPS BUSINESS EMPIRE

A Halifax based hair expert, who has honed her skills working with legends of the industry and on countless international fashion stages, has set out to expand her business with a specialist hair loss treatment clinic, new training academy and her own hair brands!

Hayley Jennings who owns House of Creation in Ripponden certainly knows her stuff when it comes to the latest trends in hair treatments and this is evident in how in demand she is.  She was part of the Racoon International Artistic Team with celebrity stylist Andrew Barton and trained under Catherine Boden, the creator of international phenomenon The Hollywood Colour Blend.

But it’s the business end that is now inspiring Hayley and she is on a mission to grow an empire that not only offers ground-breaking treatments in the salon but also helps to train and enable other stylists in Yorkshire to offer these services within their own salon.

Since opening in 2011 House of Creation has become a magnet for those wanting the very latest catwalk trends, including the Hollywood Colour Blend and finest extensions.  Hundreds of customers travel from far and wide and Hayley counts a number of celebrities on her client list.

After qualifying in hair loss management Hayley ventured into offering a range of revolutionary, non-surgical but semi-permanent solutions for women suffering because of a range of conditions including cancer treatment.  Earlier this year she launched a separate clinic at a discreet location in Huddersfield to cater specifically for hair loss clients.  She has already treated over 20 clients, some from as far as London.

The House of Creation Academy launched last month as a joint venture with senior stylist Jess Patrick.   The Academy provides intensive training, primarily in the application of various hair extension techniques, and attendees can qualify with a training manual and full tool kit.

As if this isn’t enough for the 37-year-old single mother of two, Hayley’s latest venture is her very own branded range of hair.  Sourced ethically from all over the world, ‘Adorn’ is a hair collection personally selected by Hayley, her business partner and brand specialist Claire Pilcher, and her dedicated field agent.  Whist Adorn offers the crème of real hair for bonded extensions, a further collection, ‘Preen’, will serve the fashion conscious younger generation wanting more temporary and flexible application.

Hayley said, “Over the years I have gained so much knowledge in the hair industry and learned from the best.   It feels like a natural progression for me to transfer this into a range of businesses where treatments and skills training is more accessible in Yorkshire.

“I am extremely excited with these ventures and remain driven by the constant delight from customers who for some the treatment is life changing.  With the amazing and environmentally friendly techniques now available at affordable prices, nobody needs to feel unhappy with their hair.  And this is where my mission begins.”
