Storthes Hall Park nominated for national venue award

Storthes Hall Park near Huddersfield has been nominated in the prestigious Best Bedroom category of the national CHS Awards.

The recognition comes after the Kirkburton-based country venue enjoyed a six-figure refurbishment that has seen leisure and business bookings soar over recent months.

The CHS Awards, now in its fifth year, looks at the very best that UK hotels and venues have to offer their customers, from customer service to facilities, catering and environment.

“The awards are unique to our industry in that they champion venues and suppliers in a variety of more unusual or specific categories, that perhaps haven’t been recognised in the past,” said Storthes Hall Park Business Development Manager Miriam Pedersen-Smith.

“We are very excited about our “bedroom” nomination and hope it proves that you don’t need to have a city centre postcode to be among the best in the country.”

The Awards are judged by an independent panel made up of over 50 event professionals from leading agencies throughout the UK.

The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner at The Royal Armouries in Leeds later this month.
