Tudor International Win Global Freight Award

Adam Johnson of Tudor International Freight won Young Freight Forwarder of the Year at the Global Freight Awards last week.

The black tie event took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Thursday 16th November and was attended by MDs and CEOs of global logistics providers including DHL, UPS, Emirates Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Maersk Line and Hapag Lloyd.

Adam who lives in Headingley, Leeds began employment with Tudor International Freight in 2012 after completing his accountancy qualifications at Grant Thornton and Ernst & Young. He was nominated for the award by his line manager after overseeing various projects at the company including the attainment of Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status for the business and the relocation of the company to a larger premises.

Adam who received his award from stand-up comedian Rob Beckett was over the moon to have won this accolade: “It was a huge surprise to win the award last week. I owe a lot to the team at Tudor International Freight – I work with a really good bunch of people who have provided me with loads of support and advice over the last five years.”
