Frasers targets another big name in sportswear
Frasers Group has acquired an 8.8% stake in US sportswear business Under Armour as the UK retail group expands its portfolio of investments in global sporting brands.
The Derbyshire-based group holds around 16.6 million Under Armour shares, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The holding was worth approximately $80.1m based on Under Armour’s share price at the end of Tuesday’s trading.
