Ginger Butchers expands Matlock operation creating 20 jobs
Ginger Butchers has created 20 jobs after expanding into a larger premises in Matlock, bringing its butchery, deli, farm shop and cafe together in the former Wilko building on Bank Road.
The Peak District family business moved into the unit at 2-4 Bank Road this summer after outgrowing its smaller shop across the road, which opened in 2023.
It was previously occupied by Poundland following Wilko’s departure but had been vacant since the discount retailer moved out.
