Appointments review: LK2; FHP Living; and Cartwright King

LK2 Architects of Lincoln has appointed two new members to its team – RIBA Part 1 architectural assistant James Pinkney and senior architectural technologist Natalie Battye.

Battye is trained in architectural technology and building design and will support LK2’s exciting flagship schemes such as Buttermarket shopping centre in Ipswich, while Pinkey will be a key assistant to the firm’s architects.

Nottingham estate agency FHP Living has strengthened its team with the appointment of a property consultant to cover Mapperley Park.

Lee Mathews joins the Lace Market city office with more than 15 years’ experience in property sales. Previously working for a central London estate agent, Matthews has co-ordinated deals of up to £5m.

Law firm Cartwright King, which has one of the largest criminal defence teams in the country, has added a new Midlands-based barrister in Graham Blower.

Having practised criminal law for over 35 years, Blower’s career at the Criminal Bar has seen him deal in both Prosecution and Defence across the criminal calendar.

Blower joins Cartwright King from Argent Chambers, has been a leading junior in a number of high profile trials including what is still described as the ‘biggest robbery in the UK,’ the Securitas Tonbridge robbery.
