Awards round-up: Paragon Interiors; Develop Training

Alan Hardy, Paragon Interiors

Paragon Interiors Group, the Nottingham-based commercial interiors specialist, has picked up two major awards in the space of seven days, featuring in the 1000 Companies To Inspire report and winning at The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2016 awards.

Paragon CEO Alan Hardy said: “This has been an incredible seven days but in reality, this is 30 years in the making and down to a lot of hard work, passion and dedication from everyone. 2016 is a massive year for us as we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in the summer. Many things have changed in that time at Paragon and within the industry but there is one thing that we have pushed and pushed and that is investing in our team. The results, as evidenced by both of these awards are plain to see. Invest in your people and they will power your business to peak potential.”

Develop Training (DTL), the Derby training specialist, has been shortlisted for Training Initiative of the year in the H&V News Awards 2016.

The Managing a Technical Environment (MaTE) programme is an innovative training course designed by DTL and delivered for SGN, a UK gas distribution company.

Business development manager at DTL, Imran Akram, said: “We’re delighted that our work with SGN has been recognised by H&V News in their annual awards shortlist, as it reflects the innovative nature of the MaTE programme and the quality of our delivery.”
