Professionals to bring Hollywood to Nottingham

Nottingham Hot Property Class of 2016

Professionals from across Nottingham will be enjoying an evening of Hollywood hits tomorrow (10 November) during this year’s Nottingham Hot Property. Ahead of the celebrations, we have spoken to performers and sponsors about what makes Hot Property a stand-out event in their social calendar.

Leah McSherry director at Cleggs Solicitors is both excited and nervous, she said: “This is Cleggs first year sponsoring and my first year performing, so it’s all quite nerve-racking! I have spent a lot of time practising ahead of the event, so I hope everyone has a great time and enjoys the show. The whole team at Cleggs is proud to be part of Hot Property, it’s such a well-known event in Nottingham and something which has a positive impact on the community.”

Funds raised during the evening will go towards supporting local charity When You Wish Upon a Star (WYWUAS), which grants the wishes of seriously ill children.

DL Design Studio has chosen to sponsor this year’s event in order to support the magical charity, director at the firm Daniel Lacey said: “We’re so proud to be part of this year’s Nottingham Hot Property event. We’re a small practice with a big love for Nottingham and its music scene so we couldn’t help getting involved. On a personal level this year’s charity WYWUAS, is very close to my heart, so being a sponsor felt like the least we could do to support such a great cause.

“We know how much hard work goes into organising the event. We see the musicians and singers rehearsing in their own time weeks and weeks beforehand, all offering their passion simply for the fun of it. Hot Property is run by great people, for a great cause, making it an all-round great event. We wish everyone involved all the best for Thursday, we can’t wait.”

Alongside new sponsors, there are a many long-standing businesses that have continued to put their support behind Hot Property for many years. Millward has sponsored the event for six years and has seen it go from strength to strength, managing director Nicola Millward said: “We have been involved in Hot Property for six years and we have enjoyed every moment of it. It is a great event that brings together Nottingham professionals and supports great local charities, like WYWUAS. The event has already received so much support this year and we are really excited to see the performers take to the stage this week!”

Hot Property 2016’s sponsors are at the heart of all the proceedings, they are: engineering and construction consultancies Millward, Pulse Associates and BSP Consulting, as well as project management firm Faithful and Gould, engineering company Couch Perry Wilkes and architecture firms CPMG Architects and DL Design Studio. Joining these are the event’s media partner The Business Desk, Cleggs Solicitors, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print company Chameleon.

Standard tickets for this year’s event will cost £25 and are in high demand. Doors will open for the event at 6.30pm on 10 November, with live music commencing from 7.30pm, the evening will be held at PRYZM.
