Selina Hinchliffe

Browne Jacobson has expanded its commercial practice with the appointment of new partner Selina Hinchliffe at its Nottingham office.

Hinchliffe was previously a principal associate at Eversheds where she spent over four years leading on IP and IT matters.

Declan Cushley, partner and head of the Commercial and Technology Group and Intellectual Property team at Browne Jacobson said: “Selina’s appointment is fantastic news for the commercial group and will really help us to further bolster the breadth and depth of our already excellent skill set.”

Hinchliffe added: “I am delighted to be joining a firm with an excellent reputation as leading legal experts and a team that is going from strength to strength.”

The appointment takes the number of fee earners across Browne Jacobson’s five office network to over 480.

Cambridge & Counties Bank has appointed Simon Lindley to the new position of commercial director to oversee all of the niche bank’s lending.

Simon joined Cambridge & Counties as a business development manager at its 2012 launch and was subsequently asked to head up the area responsible for all its property backed lending.

His new role also encompasses Cambridge & Counties’ Asset Finance operations, taking over from the departing Mike Oxby. The Bank entered asset finance in 2015 and was this year named New Challenger of the Year in the Leasing World Awards.
