Traffic alert: A52 closed westbound near Derby after vehicle fire
Motorists travelling to and from Derby are set for delays this morning after an incident on the A52.
The A52 near Derby is closed westbound between the M1 and the A5111 (Borrowash) due to an incident involving a vehicle fire.
Highways England says that westbound traffic is advised to follow the hollow diamond diversion route.
Join the M1 south at J25 and continue until J24A. Exit the M1 here and join the A50 westbound for approximately 5 miles. Then join the A6 (Alvaston bypass) until you reach the junction with the A5111. The continue on the A5111 to rejoin the A52.
