Living Ventures looks to up Nottingham investment
Living Ventures, the bar and restaurant group behind the upcoming Gusto opening in West Bridgford, is looking to up its investment in Nottingham, TheBusinessDesk.com has learned.
The north-werst firm wants to open one its Alchemist cocktail bars in the current All Saints unit on Pelham Street in the Hockley area of the city.
Living Ventures has applied for a drinks licence for the premises, and hopes to move in if and when All Saints move out, we understand.
Ben Tebbutt of property agency FHP, who has been worked on the deal to bring Gusto to West Bridgford, is also trying to get the deal over the line for Alchemist on Pelham Street.
He told TheBusinessDesk.com: “I’ve seen the plans for the bar and restaurant and it will look fantastic. It’s a wonderful building and it’s great that Living Ventures are investing so heavily in Nottingham. We’re still working on the deal, but Living Ventures are looking to get the deal over the line as soon as possible.”
If the deal goes ahead, it will be the first Alchemist bar and restaurant in the East Midlands. Others are located in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Alderley Edge and Newcastle.
Living Edge did not respond to enquiries about the Nottingham opening.
