Spend a day at Papplewick Pumping Station in Ravenshead this Bank Holiday weekend. The day out will give you the opportunity to explore one of Britain’s finest Victorian water works. The day runs from 11am-5pm. Find out more here.

Michael Rosen’s award-winning book We’re Going On A Bear Hunt will be brought to life on stage at Leicester’s Curve Theatre this weekend. Join a family of adventurers and their musical dog as they head on their quest to find a bear. The kids will be able to enjoy catchy songs and hands on adventure, as well as a few surprises. Lego Weekend
Head along to Derby Quad this weekend where the kids will be able to create masterpieces with Lego. The QUAD Resources Area will provide big bags of Lego from 11am – 4pm. The event is drop in with no need to book and visitors are encouraged to share their creations on social media. However, the event is only suitable for ages 3 and above. Find out more here.

Easter Fun Day
Head along to Southwell Racecourse in Nottinghamshire on Sunday for an Easter themed fun day, suitable for all the family. Taking place from 11.30am until 6pm, there will be seven races to enjoy alongside a range of Children’s entertainment. Lord of the Dance
Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games will take to the stage this weekend at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham. Celebrating 20 years since he debuted Lord of the Dance, the show, which has been produced, choreographed and directed by Michael Flatley, will star his protégés James Keegan, Morgan Comer and Mathew Smith in the role of the Lord of the Dance. Dragons and Caverns Egg Hunt
Spend the Bank Holiday weekend at Creswell Crags in Welback this weekend. Crewell Crags has been invaded by dragons and they have left their eggs all over the place.
