On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
East Midlands mechanical and electrical engineering firm Built Environment Consulting (BEC) has appointed John Moore as a senior mechanical building services engineer based at the firm’s Derby office.
Moore, who has over 30 years of experience, will be responsible for the design of mechanical building service systems for a variety of building types and environments, and will manage projects from initial concept through to completion.
Carl Ackers, director of BEC, said: “We have a dedicated and sociable team here at BEC which as part of our growth plans is expanding at a pace. With John’s wealth of experience in the industry and can-do attitude he will enable us to continue to expand our expertise and services.
“2017 has been an incredible year for us and John joins the business at an exciting time.”
Moore, joins BEC from Neptune Building Services and studied renewable energy at the University of Hull.

Nottingham-based firm John Pye Auctions has further added to its team with the appointment of Graeme King FNAVA as a senior asset valuer.
King, who was director of Hawberry King and has over 40 years’ experience as a valuer joins the business assets division and will be based at the firm’s Old Bond Street auction facility in the heart of Mayfair, London.
Managing director of John Pye Auctions, Adam Pye, said: “With his depth of experience as a valuer and his knowledge of the industry, Graeme is the ideal candidate for this role and I’d like to welcome him to the John Pye family.
