An architects practice is expanding into Leicestershire after an upswing in demand for its services in the county.

The Roger Coy Partnership, which is based in Lime Avenue, Eydon, Daventry, was set-up by Roger Coy in 1981 and employs 15 staff.

The business specialises in residential architecture, estate planning, conservation and renovation, agriculture and equestrianism, commercial and leisure, and education and healthcare.

The firm has opened a second office at Regus House in Penman Way at the Grove Business Park in Leicester.

The office will be headed by Luke Abbott, architect and director at the Roger Coy Partnership.

He said: “We have been receiving more and more enquiries from businesses in Leicestershire and it made sense to open an office to service their needs.

“We have built a great reputation over the last 36 years for providing a quality, comprehensive service and we are keen to further increase the sectors in which we work.

“Opening an office in Leicester will provide the perfect opportunity to explore more urban and commercial markets because our staff have skills which are multi-disciplined and not just concentrated in one area.

“We will be looking at projects such as childcare and healthcare which are areas where demand is increasing.

“Leicester is an ideal location to further grow the Roger Coy Partnership and I am looking forward to attending networking events to get to know the East Midlands Chamber and other business organisations in the area to become part of the business community.

“We are keen to raise our profile in Leicestershire and to build on our reputation in helping clients every step of the way from the first drawings to completion in all aspects of building design.

“We are confident this new office will meet our growth aspirations and will be the launchpad of an exciting new era for the Roger Coy Partnership.”
