On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Emily Jones

Newly qualified solicitor Emily Jones has joined the commercial litigation team at Langleys Solicitors.

Jones trained with the Lincoln-based law firm for two years before qualifying this month. Originally from Lincoln, she graduated from the University of York with an Upper Second-Class honours in Law before completing the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham.

As part of the commercial litigation team, Jones deals with matters including contract disputes, property disputes, landlord and tenant issues and negligence claims amongst other commercial and personal disputes.

Graeme Stenson, partner in Langleys’ commercial litigation team, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Emily to our specialist team as she formally starts her career in the legal profession. We are delighted that Emily is joining us as part of the continued growth of the team and look forward to her contributing to the high standards of service we provide to our clients.”

Law firm Freeths has added to its the planning consultancy and planning legal offer with promotion of Mark Bassett and Polly Wisner to senior associate and of Liz Garvey to associate.
