East Midlands’ professional services firms, Flint Bishop and Skye Corporate Finance, have advised the sellers of First Hosted Limited (FHL) on its sale to audit, tax and consultancy company, RSM UK.

FHL provides customised Netsuite products, solutions and services to clients in Europe and beyond. RSM’s acquisition of FHL makes its the largest Netsuite partner across Europe, with a team of almost 100.

Andrew Peddie, managing director at FHL, said: “In many ways, RSM’s acquisition of FHL breaks new ground in the cloud computing sector. Flint Bishop’s team, led by Rachel, together with lead advisory support from John Sykes, gave FHL practical advice in a friendly and efficient manner making a complex process simpler, helping to ensure a successful and timely outcome.”

Rachel Bennett, corporate partner at Flint Bishop, said: “FHL has been a Flint Bishop client for a number of years and it is fantastic to see a client’s business grow and achieve the ambitions of its owners. This deal brings exciting new opportunities for MD, Andrew, and Operations Director, Darren, to drive FHL’s future, as part of the RSM group.”

John Sykes from Skye Corporate Finance also advised the sellers. He said: “FHL is a high energy technology business that has grasped the opportunity in the Cloud environment. The growth potential is enormous and I’m sure this will be realised as part of the global RSM organisation.”

The acquired company will continue to trade as FHL.
