Developer starts work on third phase of Lakeshore scheme

Lakeshore

Luxury retirement developer, Arbor Living, has announced that works have begun on the third phase of its Lakeshore development, near Lincoln.

The development of phase three will see the creation of a further nine luxury park homes on the 20-acre site, which when complete, will have a total of 64 properties next to the popular Burton Waters.

Graham Richardson, managing director at Arbor Living, said: “Following the success of phase one and two, we were keen to start works on phase three to keep up with the growing demand for our homes.

“We have been onsite at Lakeshore since 2015 and have invested over £3m into the development so far. We now have 20 home owners who chose Lakeshore for the tranquil surroundings, the luxurious finish to the fully-furnished homes and the 24-hour security which gives additional piece of mind for those who are retiring or semi-retiring. Lakeshore is all about lifestyle without compromise and having a home they can lock up and leave in safe hands is a great appeal.

“As we move into phase three, we are constantly bringing new innovations to site to ensure customers get the best experience here. All our homes are different which gives the site a village feel. As part of phase three, we are introducing two new park homes designs as well as enhancing the layout and landscape.

“I’m excited by the community we are creating here in Lincoln and look forward to revealing phase three once it is complete in January.”

The Lakeshore development is managed by local agent Pygott & Crone. Craig Stones, new homes manager at Pygott & Crone, said: “We continue to see high levels of interest in Lakeshore from over 55s. This demographic is often looking to change their lifestyle but still enjoy high standards of living and want to be close to city centres as well as local amenities.

“Lakeshore fits perfectly into this generations lifestyle aspirations. The surrounding lake and nature aspect is particularly appealing and with popular amenities within walking distance and single-storey living, it’s a tempting and affordable offer.”
