On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Mitchells Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers has added to its corporate team with the appointment of a chartered accountant.

Kelly Scaysbrook ACA from Brockwell in Chesterfield joins the Saltergate-based firm as a corporate manager.

Experienced in a variety of areas including accounts preparation, auditing, corporate and personal tax, Scaysbrook makes the move from a Derby-based firm of chartered accountants.

Anthony Hennessy

Lorien Engineering Solutions, the Burton-based engineering design and project management firm, has appointed a business development manager to target the life sciences, advanced manufacturing and drinks sectors.

Anthony Hennessy has held international sales and marketing roles in locations including Israel and Africa, and has experience in selling into the processing and energy markets, working for companies such as MGT Liquid & Process Systems.

In his new role at Lorien he will work alongside the firm’s team of engineers to establish and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers in several of the firm’s key sectors.

Lorien’s operations director Bill Treddenick said: “Anthony brings with him a wealth of experience in international sales and business development, and he has a proven track record in identifying opportunities and driving sales. We are confident in his abilities to communicate our message to a growing customer base.”
