On the move: the latest East Midland hires

Hannah Grewcock

Lincoln-based property developer Truelove Property & Construction has appointed a new project manager.
Hannah Grewcock from Lincoln has joined the team as the property firm’s first on-site project manager, taking the total number of employees at the company to 28.

Grewcock said: “I’m delighted about this new opportunity which is going to be both exciting and challenging. In a previous role I worked within construction management which I feel has prepared me well for this opportunity.”

She added: “It’s an exciting time to join the company and I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into several new developments which are planned for 2018. Truelove will also be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and while it’s going to be a busy year ahead, I can’t wait to get started!”

Barrie Truelove, director at Truelove Property & Construction, said: “We’re really excited to have Hannah join our growing team. It was evident from her skillset and previous work experience that she would make a fitting candidate for the role.

“There is a range of new developments planned for this year, so Hannah’s previous experience in the industry will be most welcome.”

Guy Poyser

Miller Homes Midlands’ regional technical co-ordinator, Guy Poyser, has been appointed to a panel overseeing the new government backed ‘T-level’ qualifications.

Introduced during last year’s budget, the new system will overhaul how technical education is taught.

Based in Derby at Miller Homes Midlands regional office, Poyser will sit alongside leading industry professionals and representatives from large employers to devise the new construction pathway. Experts will also create an additional 14 pathways as part of the qualification.

Poyser said: “I’m honoured to have been selected to sit on the panel, and help define the teachings within the new construction T-Level. It’s vital for the industry to tailor the teaching content to ensure candidates progress, with not only the academic understanding, but also the physical skills to step into employment in a seamless manner.”
