Linsco, the Nottingham-based recruitment company with offices across the UK, is set to expand into Sheffield as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The company, which sources temporary and permanent candidates in the new build construction, civil engineering, M&E, utilities & FM, property and social housing and shop fitting sectors operates across the UK and also has core teams based in Warrington, Leeds and Glasgow.

The firm’s next major office will be in Sheffield, which is currently scheduled to be open by the start of the new financial year, by which time Linsco will have over 100 employees.

Matt McGregor, managing director at Linsco, said: “This is a major milestone for Linsco. We have grown steadily and organically over a sustained period of time, through recessions, upturns and downturns and right now we are enjoying our best trading period to date. 2016/2017 was a record year for us and this year is very positive too and we have been keen to bolster our teams across our offices so that we can serve our clients to the best of our abilIty.

“We’ve done that with our regional offices across the UK in bases at Warrington, Leeds and of course Glasgow where we doubled our team to cope with client demand. Sheffield will be home to our next major base as we continue to service our wide range of specialities across the construction sector, notably in housing, which has been a strong driver of growth for us.

“We also expect to announce our 100th member of staff imminently who will join a team that is committed to growth from within, working for a company that rewards excellence and empowers its people.”
