A Derby company which manufactures components for the aerospace and automotive industries has moved to new premises following funding from Barclays.

Established in 1947, Patterns (Derby) has moved to the new 8,125 sq ft site at Eagle Park, Haslams Lane in Derby.

The company has built a reputation for supplying high quality products and services to leading aerospace engineering companies across the UK and the rest of the world and employs 16 people.

Directors Stephen Smith and Simon Walters said: “The old premises were dated and inefficient, potentially making the company vulnerable. The facilities at Eagle Park comply with present day building efficiency requirements and reflect a secure and safe working environment. This will create the image we want for the company, futureproofing the business and offers a base on which we can expand.”

John Hunter, relationship manager at Barclays said: “The new site will enable Patterns to benefit from increased efficiencies and will provide a platform on which to further grow the business.”
