Trio qualify at architecture practice

Butler, Grocock and Sharpe

Three newly qualified architects are celebrating at multi-disciplinary design practice, rg+p.

Yasmin Butler, Sarah Grocock and Rebecca Sharpe have all passed their Architectural Practice Postgraduate Diploma (Part 3) qualification after completing their academic studies at De Montfort University, Leicester.

rg+p’s directors, James Badley and Rob Woolston have mentored the three graduates. Badley said: “This is excellent news for these young professionals and the culmination of seven years hard work. Yasmin, Sarah and Rebecca have each developed a sound understanding of the industry and offer considered, creative design advice to clients. We’re exceptionally proud of their achievements and are confident they all have bright futures.”

Currently working on a mix of private and affordable residential schemes, qualifying means each of these new architects is now registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and are fully chartered members of RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).

“Qualifying represents such a milestone; I’m so happy to have achieved this and am looking forward to the next steps in my career at rg+p,” said Grocock.

Sharpe added: “I’ve been working at rg+p for seven years now, alongside my studies. Our team leaders and directors have shared their time and expertise with all three of us and this training and support has been absolutely invaluable.”

Butler said: “It’s a brilliant feeling knowing our studies are completed and we can now concentrate on developing our careers and expanding our knowledge within the industry.”

Rob Woolston added: “Growth for our practice recently has been exceptional; with investments in new premises, technology and several senior level appointments across the business. To add to this with three new architects is fantastic and we wish our trio the most sincere congratulations.”
