Roofing products firm makes first acquisition

Permaroof, the Alfreton importer and distributor of Firestone RubberCover roofing products, has made its first acquisition.

The company has bought Gosport-based The Skylight Company which sells roof lights.

The news comes as Permaroof launches a commercial sales division, expands its contractor programme for trades people and takes on additional warehousing space.

The firm has also launched its own range of Glass Edge and says it is on target to turn over £15m in 2019.

We have an experienced and ambitious management team who are delighted to announce the first of our planned acquisitions as we continue to grow our presence, staff numbers and product offering.”
