£28m property deal sees Eddie Stobart subsidiary move into East Mids

Nickel 28

A subsidiary of logistics giant Eddie Stobart is set to move into the East Midlands following a £28m property deal.

The Richardson Family and Thorngrove Land & Property have sold Nickel 28 – a 268,000 sq ft, speculatively built new warehouse on the South Normanton Industrial Estate in Derbyshire, at Junction 28 of the M1 to Roebuck Asset Management.

The tenant moving in is iForce, a subsidiary of Eddie Stobart, who have taken the development on a 15 year lease.

iForce was formed in 1997 by the merger of a software business with a logistics provider.
