On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Sarah Louise Fairburn

Three industry leaders and a senior officer at Lincolnshire County Council have joined the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s Board of directors.

Debbie Barnes OBE, head of paid service at Lincolnshire County Council, Gary Headland, chief executive of Lincoln College, Nick Worboys, director of development and sales at Longhurst Group, and Sarah Louise Fairburn, brand director at Fairburn Eggs, have all joined the board.

Ursula Lidbetter MBE, chair of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, said: “I’m pleased to welcome Debbie, Gary, Nick and Sarah Louise to the board. I am confident that they will provide invaluable contributions, particularly in their areas of expertise, in helping to progress the LEP’s strategic agenda.”

Jo Callaway

Nottingham residential property development company, Hockley Developments, has appointed Jo Callaway as its new sales manager.

Callaway has worked in estate agency for 10 years, most recently as a branch manager at Haart in Newark.

She said: “I am excited to join Hockley developments, and to be a part of a growing business. I was attracted to the business because of the affordable housing available to first time buyers and the Help to buy scheme availability.

“Having worked in the estate agency industry for over 10 years, I have seen first-time buyers struggle to get onto the property ladder, so it’s a great pleasure to be able to offer affordable, stylish properties to young professionals in Nottingham.

“Nottingham has one the youngest populations in the UK, and a fast growing economy, so it’s imperative first time buyers have access to affordable housing.”
