Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel and Country Club has appointed Manoj Oomen as its new executive chef
Oomen was previously head chef of Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
He said “I’ve had a great time working with the Marriott brand at the Forest of Arden. The company empowers its chefs to explore new culinary experiences and techniques. Additionally, walking into Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel and Country Club which already has a great reputation for high-quality dining allows me to put my skills to innovate new recipes at their standard.
“This new venture presents a great challenge for me to make sure guests and local visitors are even happier when they walk out Breadsall Priory’s doors as they were before my arrival.
“This is a great opportunity to exceed expectations and I can’t wait for the challenge.”

Redrow Homes‘ East Midlands team has a new head of construction.
Richard Cadman brings more than 20 years’ experience in the property sector.
He said: ““I’m incredibly invested in the property sector and working with Redrow Homes, and I’ve even introduced my wife to the industry – she is now a sales negotiator.
“My new role at Redrow Homes East Midlands will give me the opportunity to step up and put my skillset to good use at a more senior level while learning much more about other departments than I have previously. I’m ready to take on my next big challenge and I’m thrilled to be joining the senior team at this division.
“One of the main reasons I love working in this industry is getting to know new people. Our industry has always been a close-knit group of individuals and it’s great to form new relationships with fellow managers and those in our supply chain. It’s wonderful working for Redrow Homes and in an industry that I can see my career, and the homes I help build, growing and progressing.”
