Cooper Parry leaves PKF network

Cooper Parry has withdrawn from the PKF network, saying the decision is due to “geographical decisions”.

The firm joined the network in 2013 – at the time the third accountancy practice to do so, with chief executive Ade Cheatham saying the decision refleced “the growing importance of supporting clients internationally”.

However, the company has now dropped the PKF from its name.

A spokesperson for Cooper Parry said: “We’ve decided to withdraw from the network due to geographical restrictions placed by PKF within the UK, so the decision’s been made in best interest of both parties.

“We’re looking to expand in other UK locations and it was proving too restrictive.”

Earlier this week, Cooper Parry announced it is expanding its London office and had opened in Bristol.
