Derby IT professional takes on global role

A Derby sales and business development professional has been snapped up by a global IT services firm.

Dan Orton joins Velez as vice president of global sales. He joins after spending the last five years at Xuper. He will oversee the sales team, strategic business partnerships and the marketing function, reporting to the Velez board.
