On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Amiee O'Toole

Else Solicitors has revealed that its dispute resolution associate solicitor Amiee O’Toole has accepted a position as a trustee of BAC O’Connor (The O’Connor Gateway Trust).

O’Toole has accepted the invitation from founder and managing director, Noreen Oliver MBE to join the Burton-based charity.

She will be co-responsible for governing the charity and directing how it is run and managed.

BAC O’Connor provides drug and alcohol rehabilitation for hundreds of people.

O’Toole said: “BAC O’Connor provides an essential service within our community. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Noreen and her team through mutual professional connections and began to invest more and more time supporting the charity. I particularly endorse the charities initiatives to integrate services users back into society through their tea rooms in Burton and Cannock.

“Langan’s Tea Room is a fantastic facility for our service users to upskill and thrive in a safe environment. Not only can those in recovery learn and earn an income but they can also give something back to the charity by supporting the financing of the charity for the future. This empowers our people into believing they can make a difference.

“I plan to use my experience and expertise as a business woman and solicitor to influence growth, increase exposure, and ensure the charity is future proof to support users for years to come.”

Nottingham- and Derby-based digital marketing and web design agency Frogspark has added three new staff to its team.

Operations manager, Scott Clarke, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ashley Elliot, Sarah Cleal and Chris Albon to Frogspark. We have spent a lot of time over the past 12 months refining our processes and internal structure and this, along with a successful start to the year has allowed us to attract the right candidates, who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit Frogspark and its clients in the future.”
