On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Amelia Horne

Derby entrepreneur Amelia Horne has re-joined Oviso Financial Services.

Horne was previously the co-founder of Jack Rabbits café in Derby and teams up again with colleagues Matt Simpson and Lee Mortimer, co-founders of Oviso, who she worked with at Mortgage Advice Bureau.

She said: “I am delighted to be working again in property and finance – they are my type of people – positive and client driven.”

Since leaving Jack Rabbits in 2015, Horne has freelanced as a food stylist and writer, business consultant within the food and beverage industry and prepared food for photographic shoots and TV productions.

Becki Pass

Student lettings and management company Uni2 Rent has announced the appointment of Becki Pass in the role of property manager.

Her new role will include block management, health and safety compliancy, managing general maintenance teams and advising landlords on property improvements.

Pass said: “I’m very excited to join Uni2 Rent, which has set out to be the best in Nottingham student accommodation since its launch in 2012, and is now well known in the industry for its professionalism and portfolio of properties.

“I am looking forward to bringing energy and ambition to an already amazing team and helping drive the continued development of the company.”
