On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Joanne Hackett

A new director of sport has been announced at Loughborough Schools Foundation.

Joanna Hackett is currently director of Sport at Northampton High School and will take up her new role in September. She will work in all four Schools across the Foundation.

Hackett said: “My personal philosophy for teaching is maximum participation within and outside the classroom. I believe this enables pupils to realise their full potential, and that all pupils are offered equal opportunities to be involved.

“One of my most valuable assets as a leader is my ability to motivate the pupils and staff. This, along with my experience, subject knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise, will enable me to contribute positively to the future development of Sport within the Loughborough Schools Foundation.”

Andrew Earnshaw, headmaster at Fairfield Prep added: “We’re delighted to announce Joanna as the Foundation’s Director of Sport and we look forward to starting work with her to build upon the impressive range of opportunities and our successful sporting achievements across the Foundation.

“Joanna joins us with a wide range of experiences having developed a great reputation at Northampton High School and we’re sure that she will be able to complement our existing team of sports teachers.”
