Hockley Developments has bought a 7,000 sq ft office building in Nottingham and has revealed plans to turn it into 14 luxury apartments.

Agents heb brokered the deal at 2A Sherwood Rise.

Alan Forsyth of Hockley Developments said: “This was a building we were always keen on. With the demand we have had nearby over the previous two years, and this being such a modern and well laid out building with floor to ceiling windows, and with excellent nearby transport links, we knew we could create some striking individual apartments and have strong demand from first time buyers.

“Our in-house architectural department have delivered again, and 13 of the 14 apartments have already been snapped up.”

“Our construction team are ahead of schedule, and we fully expect this development to be completed, and new owners in by September this year.”

“Once the owners had decided to sell this prominent building, we had a number of parties expressing interest” commented Robert Maxey at heb Surveyors.

He added: “Hockley Developments are rapidly making a name for themselves and were already able to demonstrate a significant track record of delivering similar schemes across the city. In that respect, it was an easy decision when picking a preferred bidder.”

Hockley Developments have recently completed three other bespoke apartment developments in the Sherwood Rise area and have several others underway within Nottingham.
