Popular Loughborough restaurant enters administration

A Loughborough restaurant which offers international cuisine has sipped into administration.

Browns Lane Bar and Restaurant has appointed Dean Nelson and Nicholas Lee of Smith Cooper to look after the day-to-day running of the business.

It is unknown why the popular restaurant has entered administration.

A statement on the restaurant’s website reads: “The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Administrators, Dean Anthony Nelson and Nicholas Charles Osborn Lee, who act as agents for the Company and without personal liability. They are licensed in the UK by the Insolvency Practitioners Association and are bound by the Insolvency Code of Ethics.”

The company’s directors are named as Nina Hallam and David Hallam.
