Surveyors’ golf day raises £1,500 for charity

Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors welcomed guests to its 3rd Annual Golf Day – this year raising money for a very special cause.

On Friday 28th June, the NG Golf Day at Ruddington Grange Golf Club raised money for the Every Cloud charity, which was set up to support men and women suffering from breast cancer in Derbyshire.

Every Cloud was co-founded by the newest member of the NG team, Jude Weston, and her friend Tracey Bricknell, who decided they wanted to do something to try and make life a little more enjoyable for men and women suffering with breast cancer in the Derbyshire and Staffordshire areas.

Richard Sutton, director at NG, said: “Every Cloud is obviously something very close to Jude’s heart and one that we are proud and honoured to support the charity through our Annual Golf Day later this month.

“Both Jude and Tracey have experienced personal losses from the disease, and wanted to turn their experiences into something positive in order to make a difference for people who are, in many cases, at their most vulnerable time in their lives. We hope that, through our Golf Day, we can raise enough to make a small difference to people’s lives.”

This year’s event once again enjoyed beautiful weather and raised £1,500 for this worthy cause. On the day the coveted Green Jacket winner was award winning architect and all-round good guy Colin Maber.

Weston said: “The donations throughout the day were gratefully received.”
