Parcel giant signs 15-year deal
Global distribution giant DHL has taken a 32,000 sq ft unit in Lincoln until 2034.
It is a new-build unit that was completed in the spring at St Modwen Park Lincoln.
The site’s first phase of 95,000 sq ft could soon be added to by a further 75,000 sq ft of development. In total the 70-acre business park has planning consent for 960,000 sq ft of space.
St Modwen’s senior development manager Rob Richardson welcomed “such a recognised and well-respected organisation to the park”.
He added: “This deal demonstrates the need for high-quality industrial and logistics space within the region and justifies our decision to speculatively develop these units.”
DHL will base part of its Express division at Lincoln.
