On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Joanne Crampton and Richard Carey

Recruitment specialist Thorn Baker Group has welcomed previous branch manager Richard Carey back to its Nottingham office.

Taking up the role of principal consultant within the estates, facilities and maintenance brand, Carey has returned to Thorn Baker following an 18 month period away from the firm.

He will be responsible for recruiting senior candidates into management level roles and building relationships within the facilities and building services markets.

Joanne Crampton, head of estates, facilities and maintenance at Thorn Baker, said: “I am absolutely delighted to have Richard back with us in the Thorn Baker EFM brand – having known and worked with Richard for many years now, I am confident that he will strengthen our position in the senior placement market within facilities and property management. Richard brings with him a wealth of knowledge and contacts throughout the industry, and an excellent reputation for matching management level candidates to the right roles.”

Elsewhere, full-service marketing agency Purpose Media has welcomed two new members to its team.

Lauren Sabin and Oli Braybrook

Oli Braybrook will take on the role of video production assistant at the South Normanton-based firm, while Lauren Sabin joins as project manager. Braybrook was previously a media manager at Champions PLC and Sabin comes on board having completed a project management apprenticeship at a local IT company.

Managing director Matt Wheatcroft said: “I’m delighted to welcome Lauren and Oli to the team here at Purpose Media. Both will fulfil vital roles within the business and it’s a pleasure to have them on board.

“It’s always an exciting time when new people join, and with the exciting projects we’re working on there’s never been a better time to join Purpose.”
