Plans submitted for huge 703-bed student scheme
Cassidy Group has formally submitted plans for its massive student scheme on Deakins Place Road Nottingham near to The University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus.
The firm wants to be build a 703-bed scheme on the site of a plumbers merchants.
The development will be a mixture of cluster bedrooms and studios, an will offer Students breakout study areas, open plan living space, cinema, gym and a cycle store.
Cassidy says it wants to complete Deakins Place in time for the August 2021 academic year.
Cassidy is already active in Nottingham. It is currently building a 217-bed student scheme in Beeston, while in Nottingham city centre it is on site at the 350-apartment Saffron Court and has recently received planning permission for the nearby 150-unit Chainey Place.
