A subsidiary of Derby-based healthcare services provider Totally has announced a pair of contract extensions worth £16.6 million.

Vocare, a specialist provider of urgent care services, has won an extension to its contract with South West London NHS 111 & GP Out of Hours valued at around £10.6 million. The extended deal began on 28 September and will run until 30 September 2020.

The firm has also had its contract with the Scarborough Integrated Urgent Care Centre – valued at around £6 million – extended from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2022.

Wendy Lawrence, CEO of Totally, said: “As we continue to strengthen our partnership with the NHS, we are delighted to announce Vocare has secured further significant contract extensions. Such extensions are significant achievements in our business and are a great reflection of the work our staff are doing in delivering quality care to the high standards required by commissioners.

“We look forward to continuing to develop our services and offerings in all the regions in which we operate and to working closely with the teams on the ground in South West London and Scarborough.”
