The countdown is on for Hot Property

Rehearsals are hotting up

With only four weeks to go until this year’s Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) event, rehearsals are well underway amongst the daring professionals of Nottingham’s property and construction industry.

Last week, organisers showed the 2018 NHP video at the sponsors event, which stirred great excitement for the city’s hottest night of 2019 on 21 November.

With just five weeks to go until this year’s Nottingham Hot Property (NHP), the region’s leading property and construction professionals are finessing their dance routines and finetuning their vocals ready for the best event yet.

This week we sat down with Ben Glover, head of development services at Savills, to find out more about the firm’s involvement as the national estate agency are a headline sponsor for NHP 2019.

How many years have you been attending Hot Property?
The Savills team are NHP regulars. We’ve been going for more than ten years now and the acts seem to get better and better every year. We absolutely love the atmosphere, it’s such a laugh and all for a great cause!

Why did you decide to become a sponsor?
It was an easy decision to become a sponsor – it’s so much fun and boosts exposure for Savills among local companies. More importantly, it raises a lot of money for charities that do fantastic work in the local area.

What are you most looking forward to about NHP 2019?
The thing I look forward to the most is always the familiar faces we recognise from a professional environment going for it on stage. It really is priceless.

What do you think to the theme this year – ‘Throwback’?
I love this year’s theme as throwback can only mean one thing – classics! I’m really looking forward to seeing what people come up with and I’m sure the throwback hits will get everyone up and dancing.

Have you ever had anything to do with the chosen charity for this year – Marcellus Baz?
Not until now but that’s why I think NHP is so great – it highlights the incredible work of local charities that people are less familiar with. I was really interested to read about Baz’s work upon hearing of this year’s charity selection!

Is anyone from Savills performing this year?
Unfortunately, not this time. I played guitar at three previous Hot Property events but this year I’ll just be participating as a spectator, which will be really fun.

Alongside Savills, Pulse Consult are also headline sponsors with fellow sponsors for this year’s event including B&M Installations, Couch Perry Wilkes, CPMG, Faithful + Gould, Fraser Brown, Samclo Construction and Shakespeare Martineau. Joining these are Invest in Nottingham, the event’s media partner TheBusinessDesk, com, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print agency Ginger Root.
