Sports Direct buys shopping park for £25.4m
Shirebrook-based Sports Direct has bought a retail park in Hertfordshire in a deal worth £25.4m.
Mike Ashley’s firm has bought the 93,000 sq ft Brookfield Shopping Park in Cheshunt.
Michael Murray, Sports Direct’s head of elevation said: “We are already working hard on plans to breathe new life into Brookfield Shopping Park.
“We believe in bricks & mortar retail and plan to transform this retail park into a modern, aspirational shopping destination for the local area.”
