Growing estate agency set to create jobs

A Nottingham sales and letting agency says it is looking to expand its team after breaking through the £500,000 turnover barrier.

Tristram’s Sales and Lettings was formed in 2015 by James Tristram and school friend Fraser Barron. Staff numbers have now risen to nine, with three more hires to be made over the next 12 months.

The company has a sales and lettings office in Bramcote and an administration office in Basford Nottingham.

Tristram said: “We initially moved into one side of this unit before the business next door moved and we knocked the walls down and taken over both sides.

“We now manage 450 properties to let and the sales team have over 100 properties on the market to sell.

“We continue to grow year on year and have a fabulous list of recommendations from our clients.”

Tristram said that turnover at the firm is now at £550,000 a year, and the firm is looking to take on a lettings valuer.

He added: “We’ll require a further sales negotiator and lettings administration/property manager over the next year. We should have a team of 12 by 2020.”
