Fit-out specialist bags high-end London contract

A Leicester-based fit-out firm has started work on a major project at one of the most upmarket addresses in the UK.

EE Smith Contracts will provide a full interior fit-out at a development of 15 apartments, offices and retail space at 55-91 Knightsbridge.

The contract will see EE Smith work on the project in association with Sir Robert McAlpine, Dixon Jones, MSMR and APML Estates.

Work on the Grade II listed property is expected to be completed towards the end of 2020.

The building, which dates back to 1905, is located in the heart of Knightsbridge close to the underground station and Hyde Park.

EE Smith has also worked on Hans Place and One Hyde Park in the area.
