Nottingham Hot Property is finally here

Gavin White

Final rehearsals are taking place, performances are being perfected and wigs are at the ready, which can only mean one thing: Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) 2019 is finally here.

We therefore sat down with for our final Hot Property sponsor chat with Gavin White, who is a director at Fraser Brown and part of the NHP band.

How many years have you been attending Hot Property?

The Fraser Brown team has been supporting NHP ever since I can remember! It’s been amazing to witness such a wide variety of acts every year and see day to day professionals let loose.

How many years have you been a sponsor?

After seeing what a difference NHP makes to local charities, we wanted to get involved as much as we could, and this will be our second year being proud sponsors.

This year’s chosen charity really is a unique and important charity that’s tackling issues within our society head on. I’ve been really impressed by the work Marcellus Baz and his team have done at Switch Up and the support network they have built along the way.

What do you think to the theme this year – ‘Throwback’?

This year’s theme is great; it offers wide flexibility and a chance for performers to choose from an array of genres which also leaves the audience anticipating an array of surprises!

It’s great to see that more and more professionals from across Nottingham are going out of their comfort zones to perform on stage in front of a large audience, all in aid for a great cause.

Is anyone from Fraser Brown performing this year?

I will be representing Fraser Brown, playing the guitar as part of the band. This will be seventh year playing and I am excited to get back on stage and perform at what is set to be the biggest NHP to date.

Alongside Fraser Brown, the sponsors for this year’s event include Pulse Consult and Savills as headline sponsors as well as: B&M Installations, Couch Perry Wilkes, CPMG, Faithful + Gould, Samclo Construction and Shakespeare Martineau. Joining these are: Invest in Nottingham, the event’s media partner The Business Desk, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print agency Ginger Root.

The chosen charity for Hot Property 2019 is Switch Up, an organisation that uses a combination of physical activity mentorship, counselling and education to help young people with complex issues.
