Judges revealed for East Midlands Business Masters Awards 2020

The judging panel for the eagerly-anticipated East Midlands Business Masters Awards 2020 has been revealed today.

The panel will decide on a shortlist and winner in 13 categories. Winners will be crowned at a glittering awards evening at the Crowne Plaza in Nottingham on Thursday 12 March.

TheBusinessDesk.com’s  annual Business Masters dinner is one of the key events in the region’s business calendar. This dinner attracts key influencers, decision-makers, business owners and senior managers from a wide range of high-profile companies and business sectors.

The Business Masters celebrate the achievements of our most innovative, ambitious and successful businesses in the region – but the deadline for nominations is this Friday (13 December) –  enter for free today and be part of our 2020 event.

Our judging panel will consist of:

Reshma Sheikh

Reshma Sheikh. Reshma is managing director of Nottingham-based facilities management firm Octavian UK. Octavian was established in the UK and has a global reach within 88 countries worldwide. Territorial areas that Reshma covers include Turkey, the Middle East, the US and Africa.

Greg Simpson

Greg Simpson. Greg is the managing director of East Midlands PR agency, Press for Attention. He is also a regional champion for Enterprise Nation and committee member of networking groups Network LE and Nottingham Professional Services, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Charlotte Perkins

Charlotte Perkins. Charlotte is group managing director of The Wilson Organisation. She has worked in the family business, which specialises in insurance and financial advice to businesses and individuals. The Wilson Organisation also organises the prestigious Midlands Family Business Awards, which in 2019 celebrated its tenth anniversary.

Helen Wathall

Helen Wathall. Helen is managing director of Derby funeral director Wathall’s. Helen is the fifth generation of her family business and the first woman to head up Wathall’s. In April she was presented with an MBE for her services to business and community work. At the 2019 East Midlands Business Masters Helen won the Ambassador of the Year prize.

The judging session, which will be hosted by Cartwright Communications, will take place in early January.
