Specialist lender unveils key hire

Cambridge & Counties Bank has appointed a new senior relationship manager for the East Midlands.

David Gregory, who will be based in Lincoln, joins the specialist lender from Nationwide Building Society.

He will be part of a team lead by regional director Jayne Follows, and will focus principally on growing the bank’s extensive property book across its core East Midlands market.

Gregory began his banking career in 1983 with NatWest in Lincoln before joining the Derbyshire Building Society in 2006. He moved to Nationwide in 2011.

He said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Cambridge & Counties Bank, which has a great reputation in the property sector. The role gives me the opportunity to reacquaint myself with commercial brokers and introducers both old and new, supporting them and their clients to develop and grow as well as benefit from the strong expertise available from Cambridge & Counties Bank.”
