CGI of RM Resources’ Hucknall HQ

Educational resource supplier RM Resources has agreed a deal to move its UK headquarters to a new 195,840 sq ft building at Harrier Park, Hucknall, which has recently received planning consent.

RM Resources is part of RM plc, a supplier of technology and resources to the education sector, supporting schools, teachers and pupils across the globe – from pre-school to higher education – including examination boards, central governments and other professional institutions.

The 70-acre Harrier Park is part of a long-term joint venture between Rolls-Royce and regeneration firm Muse Developments that will bring nearly 1m sq ft of employment space, alongside hundreds of new homes and community facilities built on surplus land alongside the Rolls-Royce Aerospace supply chain plant off Watnall Road.

Monique Louis, managing director at RM Resources, said: “At RM Resources we are continually seeking to enhance our service to customers and in support of this we are delighted to be developing our new UK headquarters in Hucknall. This development will consolidate our operational activities into a single location and forms part of a wider operational and technological improvement programme across the business. Hucknall is ideally placed to service our customers within the UK and internationally and we look forward to continuing to build on our established presence in the Nottingham region”

Robert Orgill, property manager at Rolls-Royce, said: “We are pleased to see continuing demand for Harrier Park and look forward to having RM Resources as our near neighbour.”

Dan Needham, development director at Muse Developments, said: “We have been talking to potential occupiers for some time at Harrier Park, and are delighted to welcome RM Resources to the scheme.

“This represents a real commitment by partners to bring significant employment opportunities to the area, alongside a vibrant, new community, and we look forward to working with RM Resources to deliver their new headquarters here at Harrier Park.”

Planning permission has also recently received consent, with the scheme anticipated to start on site in February 2020.

Knight Frank and FHP advised Muse, with Doherty Baines acting on behalf of RM Resources.
