Major care provider expands into Nottingham

Cardinal House

Live-in and extra care services provider London Care has expanded into Nottingham in a deal brokered by Savills and NG Chartered Surveyors.

A private fund advised by the two companies has let the entirety of Cardinal House to the firm on a five-year lease.

The 10,000 sq ft office building in Abbeyfield Court will provide a new East Midlands base for the London-based company, which has some 20 sites across the South of England.

The premises was previously occupied by Dollar Financial, the company behind high street brands The Money Shop and Payday UK.

Victor Ktori, head of office at Savills Nottingham, said: “Cardinal House offers good quality accommodation just three miles outside of Nottingham city centre. Situated in a well-established out-of-town location, Abbeyfield Court benefits from strong transport links and nearby retail and leisure amenity making it the ideal place for London Care’s new office space.”

Abbeyfield Court, which was designed by Franklin Ellis architects, is situated off Lenton Lane three miles from Nottingham city centre.
