50 jobs created as Cosy Club officially launches Nottingham site

Cosy Club Nottingham

Cosy Club has opened its new premises in Nottingham, creating 50 new jobs for the city.

Located within an ambitiously restored Grade II listed building on Victoria Street in the city centre, the new restaurant and bar is the company’s largest in the UK.

The building, which was once home to the casino and fine dining venue the Victoria Club, has been transformed into three floors of drinking, eating and celebrating space. The history and grandeur of its interior design has been spectacularly retained.

Amber Wood, managing director for the Cosy Club brand, said: “We’ve had a fantastic few weeks putting the finishing touches to our biggest Cosy Club ever, and we can’t wait to see what the people of Nottingham think.

“The new Cosy Club offers something for every occasion, and to have the beautiful spaces that can be enjoyed whether you’re popping in for brunch, or celebrating your wedding, it’s been a very special renovation and opening for us.”

Cosy Club Nottingham will be donating funds from the sale of each coffee and burger sold to the charitable organisation Independent Age. The charity provides free information and advice for older people and their families on care and support, money, health and mobility and offers friendship services to relieve loneliness.

The Cosy Club restaurant and bar chain is owned by Loungers.
